Electronic Computer Center at Southern Technical University Conducts MS Visio Workshop for Summer Camp Students

As part of its ongoing academic and training activities aimed at developing students’ skills and strengthening their technical capabilities, the Electronic Computer Center at Southern Technical University organized a practical workshop on MS Visio for students participating in the Summer Camp.

The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Hussein Sadiq Khalaf, who introduced participants to MS Visio, highlighting its main features and diverse applications in creating diagrams and visual representations. He also explained its various fields of use, the groups that can benefit from it, and how the program can be effectively utilized across different academic disciplines.

The workshop included a hands-on component covering the design of administrative charts, electrical system diagrams, and computer network diagrams. Participants were also introduced to a range of examples and practical applications relevant to various scientific and engineering specializations.

This workshop forms part of the Electronic Computer Center’s efforts to promote training and professional development activities and equip students with modern digital skills that enhance their academic and practical capabilities, in line with technological advancements and the evolving requirements of the labor market.
