Southern Technical University invites its students to take part in the National University Championship for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications (NURAI), held under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with broad participation from students of public and private universities across Iraq.
The championship reflects the Ministry’s efforts to promote innovation, advance digital transformation, and strengthen applied scientific research in line with the requirements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. It also aims to encourage the use of artificial intelligence and robotics technologies in addressing societal needs and supporting sustainable development.
About the Championship
The National University Championship for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications is a competitive scientific event designed to develop students’ practical and technical skills in emerging technology fields, including:

Computer vision
Control systems

The championship seeks to establish itself as Iraq’s leading national platform for robotics and artificial intelligence by fostering an innovative research environment and promoting the integration of digital technologies with modern industrial applications.
