The Southern Technical University opens specialized laboratories in the Electronic Computer Center

The president of the Southern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Rabiee Hashim Al  Abbasi, opened specialized laboratories in the electronic computing center after his rehabilitation. At the opening ceremony, Abbasi explained the University’s quest to rehabilitate and build laboratories and classrooms in line with the accelerated scientific progress to serve students of primary and higher studies in order to enhance their knowledge and academic balance, adding that these laboratories will witness an important experience, namely the evaluation exams for medical specialties, where the University and its scientific laboratories will be in this challenge, pointing out that these laboratories accommodate approximately 175 students, where we will work in the future to accommodate 300 students. For his part, the director of the Center, Dr. Haider Yaqoub Yousif, said that the qualification included networking laboratories, artificial intelligence, software laboratory, as well as data processing laboratory, and these laboratories will be ready to hold training courses and workshops for university employees and students in addition to government and private sectors and civil society organizations. The opening ceremony was attended by the assistant rector for administrative affairs, the dean of the Faculty of Health and medical technology, the dean of the Basra Engineering Technical College and a number of department heads, teachers and students.
