A master’s thesis at the Southern Technical University discusses the remote electronic health system

A master’s thesis was discussed at the Graduate Studies of the Southern Technical University, about a remote e-health system through a lightweight and secure for e-health protocol based on the Internet of Things.

The thesis submitted by the student (Saja Ali Hussein) in the Master Program of Electrical Engineering Technologies included studying the electronic health system, which aims to care for patients from a distance. This system consists of wearable sensors called the body area network.

The researcher indicated that the necessary data is read from the patient’s body, which is often implanted in it, and then transferred to the smart device located near it.

The researcher concluded that these two protocols are characterized by their lightness compared to the previous protocols, which means a reduction in the cost of communication.
