The Shatrah Technical Institute within the Southern Technical University, in cooperation with the International Federation of Innovators inThi Qar, held a scientific symposium on electronic-learning.
The symposium, which was held under the slogan (Electronic – learning is a step towards achieving quality standards), was teaching by the teacher, Rawaa Zahid Al-Jubouri from Hilla University College, Department of Medical Physics, axes including the concept of electronic – learning, its types, advantages, disadvantages, causes, and standards of affection in education in addition to how to apply These quality standards.
The symposium aims to the importance and the need for electronic-learning through higher education institutions in Iraq, as well as introducing the positive and negative advantages of electronic-learning.
The symposium concluded that electronic-learning is a necessity to meet the current scientific needs in Iraq in light of health developments in the world.
From his part, the Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Muwaffaq Abdul Aziz Al-Hassnawi, stressed that electronic-learning contributed during the pandemic that affected the world to the important communication between students and educational institutions and also helped enrich the experience of teaching professors on how to deliver scientific and training materials to their students.
