The Electronic Computer Center at Southern Technical University has concluded the activities of its summer camp, held from June 2 to June 30, 2026, as part of the University’s efforts to prepare soon-to-be graduates for the labor market and equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully transition into their professional careers.
The camp attracted strong participation from students across various academic disciplines. Its intensive training program was delivered by a group of the University’s faculty members and lecturers and focused on developing the participants’ professional, technical, and personal competencies.
Language and Digital Empowerment
This component featured training in professional English, information technology fundamentals, office software, Google applications, and formal correspondence skills. These areas were designed to strengthen students’ ability to communicate and perform effectively in today’s modern workplace.
Future Skills and Digital Security
Participants were introduced to the latest applications of artificial intelligence and explored practical ways to utilize AI across different fields. The program also raised awareness of data protection and cybersecurity, highlighting best practices for safeguarding information in the digital environment.
Soft Skills Development
The camp also focused on essential soft skills, including effective communication, teamwork, time management, problem-solving, critical thinking, and leadership. These competencies are vital for developing well-rounded professionals who can adapt to diverse and evolving workplace environments.
Employability and Job Interview Skills
A dedicated part of the program was designed to help students prepare for entering the labor market. Participants received practical training on creating professional resumes and successfully navigating job interviews through simulated interview sessions. They also practiced responding to common interview questions and presenting their personal skills and experience in a professional manner.
At the conclusion of the camp, the Electronic Computer Center expressed its appreciation to the academic and administrative teams whose efforts contributed to the success of the program. The Center also commended the students for their commitment and active participation throughout the training period, wishing them continued success in their academic and professional journeys.
