A panel discussion was held at the Electronic Computing Center of the Southern Technical University on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, in celebration of Earth Day 2026, attended by a number of faculty members and university staff.
During the event, Sarah Abdulkarim delivered a lecture addressing the importance of environmental awareness and the role of academic institutions in promoting sustainability concepts. She emphasized the necessity of transforming positive environmental practices into a daily lifestyle that contributes to protecting natural resources for future generations.
The discussion session witnessed active and fruitful interaction from the attendees, during which views and ideas were exchanged regarding the most significant environmental challenges and possible solutions. In addition, practical initiatives aimed at spreading environmental awareness within the university community and beyond were proposed.
