The Southern Technical University participated in the first forum for technical education, which witnessed the presence of the Secretary-General of the Holy Shrine of Hussein, the Advisor to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and a number of presidents of technical universities in the center and the region, in addition to professors and experts in technical education. For its part, the university participated with a delegation consisting of the Dean of the Technical Institute in Shatrah, the two directors of the Center for Continuing Education, and the director of the Scientific Affairs Department at the University Presidency. The forum included a presentation of a number of working papers from the participating universities, which included topics related to technical education.
