Southern Technical University organizes an awareness seminar on digital drugs

The Southern Technical University, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center  and the Department of Student Activities and Educational Guidance, organized an awareness symposium on digital drugs, their definition and methods of spread. The symposium, in which the Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs and Director of the Research and Environmental Pollution Unit, Professor Dr. Mahmood Salem Thamer, lectured, included topics including: types of drugs and their harm to youth and society, the concept of digital drugs, the history of their origin, their source, and their mechanism of action. The symposium, in which a large number of university students, professors and associates participated, aims to identify the ways in which this alien pest spreads to our society, and the danger it causes. In addition to how to promote it through websites in the form of single or bilateral vibrations given to its listeners under hypnosis. At the conclusion of its work, the symposium recommended using security methods and modern technology to maintain safety and privacy and the necessity of combating the scourge of drugs and keeping society away from it.
