The University Incubator Unit at the Basra Technical Institute within the Southern Technical University implemented its workshop on leadership and creativity in small and medium innovative projects. The workshop, in which the head of the engineering unit, Sanaa Hassan, lectured, included the importance of innovative projects and their impact on the economic aspects of countries, as well as their great importance in terms of their support for national production.
In addition to providing job opportunities, the workshop aims to introduce the concept and importance of leadership and creativity and the basic conditions for developing the creative spirit of those with entrepreneurial ideas.
From his part, the Assistant Dean of the Institute, Dr. Abdul Nasser Abdul Jabbar, explained the importance of such training workshops as they clarify the road map for those interested in small and medium-sized businesses and innovative projects, pointing out that the ability of young people to be creative is actually linked to interaction with society and the exploitation of the individual’s own resources, which is greatly influenced by the level of awareness and education.
