The president of the Southern Technical University, Prof. Dr. Rabee Hashim Abbasi, attended the meeting that included the Parliamentary Education Committee and the heads of the new universities and was embraced by Sumer University. The meeting, which was attended by the deputy chairman of the higher education and scientific research parliamentary committee, Dr. Adel hashoush Al-Rikabi, and the presidents of the new Iraqi universities, discussed the administrative, financial and scientific conditions and their share of functional degrees. The meeting concluded with important recommendations to be submitted to the Ministry of higher education and scientific research, including scientific, administrative and financial support for universities and the opening of research centers in them that contribute to advancing the scientific and urban construction of the country. It is noteworthy that the meeting included, in addition to Deputy Adel hashoush, a member of the Parliamentary Education Committee, both: the president of Al-Qasim Green University, the Southern Technical University, Fallujah, Basra University of oil and gas, Karkh University, Shatra University in attendance, Hamdaniya, Middle Euphrates technical, Samara, Central Technical, Nineveh, Tal Afar, the University of information and communications technology, Avicenna Medical, and ibn Hayyan medical electronically
