The Southern Technical University topped the first results of the Iraqi Universities Chess Championship for female students for the first day.
This came during the results shown by the team supervising the championship, which showed the progress of the university female students to the first place after a great competition with the rest of the participating universities.
The results also showed that the University of Basra ranked second, while Al-Qadisiyah University ranked third.
It is noteworthy that the tournament, which opened on 11/12, will continue until 12/15, with the participation of 42 public and private universities, including table tennis and chess tournaments. It will be held on the courts of the Southern Technical University.
