The President of the Southern Technical University meets with the President of the Iraqi Journalists Union in Basra and his accompanying delegation

The President of the Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Rabiee Hashim Al-Abbasi, met in his office with the President of the Iraqi Journalists Union in Basra, Mr. Badr Haider Al-Mayahi, and his accompanying delegation. During the meeting, aspects of joint cooperation in the media field were reviewed and highlights of what had been accomplished within Al-Abbasi University showed that the university is progressing On parallel lines scientifically, in addition to its great endeavor to create an appropriate university environment, through the implementation of projects that serve students and associates and enhance their scientific aspect, pointing to the importance of the media role in reflecting these works to public opinion as they lead to building bridges of communication between government institutions and society on its part across the lines. He expressed his happiness at this fruitful and important meeting, thanking the President of the University for the good reception and stressing that the Southern Technical University has a clear imprint in construction works such as halls, courtyards, the university environment and providing services to its students, wishing at the same time success for all. On a related level, the delegation visited the Continuing Education Center and heard from Dr. Maher Talib Al-Shamkhali, Director of the Center, a detailed explanation of the most important courses implemented within it, as well as the training programs it adopts. After that, the guests moved to the Administrative Technical College, where a meeting took place with its Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Jaber. Hussein Ali, are familiar with the buildings implemented by the governorate within the corridors of the college and the achievement rates achieved.
