The Nasiriyah Technical Institute within the Southern Technical University organized a training course for employees of the Thi Qar Governorate Police Command in staff development and human development
The course, in which professors from the institute taught, included lectures on the concept of the official book, administrative order, and written requests.
As well as editing official books and writing records.
The course showed how to create a data bank for individuals in administrative units, in addition to developing those staff through the use of computers at work.
The Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Khawam Risan Hussein, stressed that the university, through its specialized professors, seeks to enhance ways of joint cooperation between it and the governmental and private sectors in order to ensure the university’s involvement in society, and this in turn allows communication and providing scientific advice and real training in the right places for it.
