On Sunday, November 30, 2025, the Construction and Projects Department held a workshop titled “Green Roof Construction Technology for Buildings” at the Continuing Education Center. The workshop was supervised by the department director, Ms. Balsam Majeed Hameed.

Presented by Ms. Maryam Mohammed Abdul Kadhim, the workshop covered the concept of green roofs, their environmental and architectural benefits, modern technologies used in their implementation, and their applicability to local buildings. The workshop saw wide participation from members of the Construction and Projects Department, who actively engaged with the presented topics through discussions and questions.

This workshop aimed to raise awareness of sustainable building solutions and encourage the application of environmentally friendly practices in the department’s future projects.
