The Electronic Computing Center at the Southern Technical University held a training course titled “Fundamentals of Graphic Design” (Canva) for a group of students and faculty members. The course, which focused on graphic design using the university’s Canva software, aimed to develop participants’ skills in designing advertising and promotional posters in a professional and innovative style. The course was led by programmer Abdul-Redha Taher and engineer Walaa Amer, who provided a detailed explanation of graphic design principles and how to use Canva tools to create advertising designs. Practical training was also included in preparing promotional posters and coordinating colors and visual elements in an integrated manner.
The course also emphasized developing participants’ creativity and enabling them to produce professional designs that meet the needs of the job market in the fields of advertising and digital marketing.
