Workshop on University Email Management and Two-Factor Authentication at Southern Technical University

The Computer Center at the Southern Technical University held a workshop entitled “University Email Management and Two-Factor Authentication,” as part of a series of awareness and technical workshops organized by the center with the aim of enhancing information security and improving the technical skills of university members.

The workshop was presented by Eng. Nafeh Ali Majeed, who reviewed how to manage university email effectively, emphasizing the importance of activating the two-factor authentication feature as a fundamental step to enhance the security of electronic accounts and protect personal information and official correspondence from hacking.

The presentation included a practical explanation of how to set up university email and activate available security tools, as well as an explanation of the most prominent security challenges users may face and how to address them.

The workshop witnessed positive interaction from attendees, who showed great interest in the information presented. They emphasized the need to adopt effective security practices in the university work environment, especially in light of the continued expansion in reliance on digital services.
