The College of Health and Medical Technologies holds a scientific symposium entitled “Medical Image Diagnosis Using Artificial Intelligence.”

The College of Health and Medical Technologies / Scientific Division, in cooperation with the Electronic Computer Center, held a scientific symposium entitled “Diagnosing Medical Images Using Artificial Intelligence” in the presence of the Head of the Department of Community Health Technologies, Assistant Professor Dr. Dalal Falah, the Head of the Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies, Dr. Hussam Saadi, and a number of professors and students of the college.

The seminar, delivered by Dr. Haider Yaqoub Yousef, Director of the Electronic Computer Center.

– covered the tools of artificial intelligence and machine learning methods, and how to use them to diagnose medical images from various medical imaging devices, such as CT, MRI, and PET scans, in addition to microscope images or pathology images. The seminar also addressed the reconstruction of the affected part of the image using deep learning techniques, how to combine important features in reconstruction and diagnosis, and how to test and calibrate the appropriate technology using globally accurate standards.

– Integrating artificial intelligence technologies to help diagnose and analyze medical images.

-Opening horizons for research and scientific cooperation between medical specialties and artificial intelligence.
