The continuing education center within the Southern Technical University carried out a technical workshop on centrifugal pumps and compressors, which included students, graduates and employees. The workshop, in which the lecturer Abdul Razzaq Isa Saeed lectured, included lectures on the introduction of the types of compressors and centrifugal pumps, in addition to the most important differences between them, as well as the mechanism of operation of each of them. The workshop aims to enable the trainees to familiarize themselves with the types of compressors and the main parts of the centrifugal pump and the most important ways to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational costs and the most important features of those pumps
