The Center for Continuing Education within the Southern Technical University, in cooperation with the Department of Media and Government Communication, organized a course on writing press releases. The course, in which the Director of the Media Department at the University Presidency, our colleague Jassim Mohammed Al-Mansouri, lectured, included topics including the basics of press releases, its arts, and the most important templates in which it is written, as well as the types Press news. The course aims to train participants on how to write news in accordance with recognized scientific and media controls, in addition to introducing them to the importance of news and how to transmit it to the media. The course concluded that writing press news requires accuracy, objectivity, and honesty in conveying it and adhering to the structure of charitable writing so that the recipient is in the image of the event. For their part, the participants in the course expressed their gratitude to those in charge of such activities, hoping that they would continue to benefit those working in the field of media and even those wishing to work in it.
