Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Southern Technical University holds its seventh international scientific conference

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi and under the supervision of the University President Prof. Adnan Abdullah Atiq, the Southern Technical University – Basra Administrative Technical College – held its seventh international scientific conference under the slogan “Virtual Reality Applications in Administrative Sciences”, in the presence of a number of members of the Iraqi Council of Representatives from Basra Governorate, the President of the Middle Euphrates Technical University, the Assistant President of the Central Technical University, the First Deputy Governor of Basra, scientific and academic figures and various news and media agencies, in addition to the Assistant President of the Central Technical University and the First Deputy Governor of Basra. The conference began with verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the playing of the national anthem and the reading of Surat Al-Fatiha for the souls of the martyrs of Iraq. The representative of the Minister, Prof. Adnan Abdullah Atiq started his speech by conveying the Minister’s greetings and wishing the conference success and coming up with recommendations that serve the administrative reform and economic growth of our dear country, pointing out that it is certain to believe that these conferences are the best and most successful way to establish the reputation of our dear university, stressing that the university’s interest to hold conferences of an international nature in various disciplines to achieve the vision and objectives of the university and thanks to God has met with great interaction from researchers inside and outside Iraq, and indicated that this conference was submitted 65 research papers to which 29 papers were accepted and published.
