Nasiriyah Technical Institute within the Southern Technical University organized a health course on cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The course, which was lectured by teachers from the Department of Nursing Techniques at the Institute, aims to teach the basic concepts of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, which is the latest medical science in the field of resuscitation, in order to improve outcomes and increase the chances and rates of recovery. The course provides a realistic simulation to learn how to perform CPR, the importance of team dynamics and communication among them to organize immediate and subsequent care for cardiac arrest patients, in addition to teaching skills in large group sessions and small group learning as well as testing stations where critical case scenarios are presented.
