Global Entrepreneurship Week continues its activities in the formations of the Southern Technical University

The Southern Technical University’s formations continued their activities related to the Global Entrepreneurship Week. These events included seminars and discussion workshops that included many research and studies that deal with entrepreneurship and youth business.

The Technical Institute in Basra held a seminar titled Automation and the use of artificial intelligence in the production of raw medical materials, presented by Dr. Mazen Salim Salman, and another lecture on the importance of growing medicinal herbs and using therapeutic plant oils.

On a related level, the Basra Administrative Technical College carried out a workshop on the role of business incubators in promoting entrepreneurship by Dr. Issam Younis, which focused on how students can engage in entrepreneurial projects. The Shatrah Technical Institute, within the activities of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, held a lecture on the concept of entrepreneurship, its characteristics, advantages and dimensions. The College of Health and Medical Technology also carried out a lecture on a pioneering project to get rid of plastic waste using microorganisms. For its part, the Architecture Technical Institute held a bazaar for handicrafts, an exhibition of books in various specializations, and a drawing exhibition that included paintings that simulate the life aspects of Iraqi society, in addition to displaying a collection of cells, accessories, and other collectibles. Nasiriyah Technical Institute, on the sidelines of the Global Entrepreneurship Week and to reinforce the principle of partnership between the public and private sectors, signed, in coordination between the Department of Civil Technologies and the two companies, Pioneers of Expertise Engineering, and the Hussein Al-Muhandis Agencies Group, a joint cooperation agreement that guarantees the strengthening of the partnership between institutions, as well as to be an important foundation for the implementation of sustainable development goals, Shatra College of Technology. It held an exhibition of Arabic calligraphy and a lecture entitled Project Development Plan, in which Mr. Mohsen Al-Saeedi lectured
