{"id":45046,"date":"2025-01-16T13:51:27","date_gmt":"2025-01-16T10:51:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.stu.edu.iq\/News\/45046\/"},"modified":"2025-09-05T15:20:44","modified_gmt":"2025-09-05T12:20:44","slug":"%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%ac%d8%a7%d9%85%d8%b9%d8%a9-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%aa%d9%82%d9%86%d9%8a%d8%a9-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%ac%d9%86%d9%88%d8%a8%d9%8a%d8%a9-%d8%aa%d8%b4%d8%a7%d8%b1%d9%83-%d8%a8%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%a7%d8%ac","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stu.edu.iq\/en\/News\/45046\/","title":{"rendered":"Southern Technical University participates in the 2025 annual meeting of directors of student activities departments in Iraqi public and private universities"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and under the supervision of the Head of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, Professor Dr. Salah Al-Fatlawi, and in the presence of the Director of the Student Activities Department in the Ministry, Dr. Hassanein Basem Al-Shadidy, the Ministerial Student Activities Department held the annual meeting (2025) for the directors of student activities departments and branches in Iraqi governmental and private universities to discuss the following topics:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1- Discussing the student activities curriculum for the year 2024-2025 for the first semester and confirming the positives and obstacles that accompanied the curriculum.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2- Honoring the government universities and private universities that won the first places in the evaluation form for student activities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3- Clarifying the vocabulary of the second semester curriculum and giving recommendations to improve the work.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">4- Developing proposals for upcoming curricula and focusing on creative ideas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The opening of the annual forum began with the recitation of fragrant verses from the Holy Quran and the recitation of Surat Al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs, then the Iraqi national anthem was played and the ministry&#8217;s speech was delivered by Dr. Hassanein Basem Al-Shadidi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The universities that won the first places in light of the ministry&#8217;s evaluation of government universities for the year 2023-2024 were also honored<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The forum concluded with a dialogue workshop chaired by Dr. Hassanein Al-Shadidi with the division officials to discuss several basic axes for developing future work in line with the vision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to achieve the desired goals that would improve the reality of student activities (sports, scouting, artistic, cultural, and volunteer work).
