The President of the Southern Technical University, Professor Dr. Adnan Abdullah Ateeq, inaugurated the Calibration and Engineering Testing Laboratories and Training Center at the university. The laboratories are equipped with highly advanced technologies recently used for calibration and engineering testing, and they will be used to train specialized personnel from the university\u2019s students. The university president emphasized that the presence of these four laboratories and training halls will be a qualitative addition to the Southern Technical University, which focuses on technical education to meet the needs of the labor market and provide it with specialized, highly efficient professional cadres. The inauguration ceremony of this center, with its specialized laboratories, was attended by representatives of the local government in Basra (members of the Provincial Council), several academic figures from the province, and other notable personalities.
