The Services Unit, in cooperation with student teams and extracurricular activities committees at the Qurna Technical Institute, carried out a wide-scale afforestation campaign in the corridors of the scientific departments building, with the printing of a number of posters to highlight the importance of afforestation and environmental conservation<\/p>\n<p>The campaign was supervised by agricultural engineer Sahera Yasin Hussein under the direction of the Dean of the Institute, Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Abdullah Lafta. The campaign included planting perennial trees and seasonal plants, in addition to many types of flowers that are compatible with the various climatic conditions.
