It is worth mentioning that the General Iron and Steel Company (SCIS) is one of the companies affiliated to the Ministry of Industry and Minerals and is a public sector company fully owned by the state and the only company specialized at the level of Iraq in its diverse production (reinforcing iron, sponge iron, spirally welded iron pipes &#8211; and longitudinally welded iron
