The fourth session of the University Council was held at the Southern Technical University for the academic year 2023\/2024, in the presence of the University President, Professor Dr. Rabiee Hashem Al-Abbasi, and the Council members. Where the final preparations for the central graduation ceremony were discussed, Al-Ayasi stressed the importance of this ceremony and harnessing all the necessary energies to make it a success and in a way that is commensurate with the university\u2019s role in society, stressing the necessity of adhering to the timings and following up on all the details so that it will be a ceremony worthy of our students. The Council reviewed the daily situation of the actual attendance of first grade students in Departments and formations of the university, in addition to the position on student registration and the ratio of accepted students to actually registered students. It also discussed the plan for admission to the evening study, provided that the instructions of the admission plan are not exceeded, as well as the discussion of graduation projects for the gathered evening studies students. They discussed the introduction of a doctoral study in the Department of Technology. electrical engineering.
