In the presence of the President of the University, Professor Dr. Rabiee Hashim Al-Abbasi, the assistants and members of the Council, the Basra Engineering Technical College hosted the second session for the academic year 2023\/2024, which reviewed the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Research in the ninth electronic meeting of the Opinion Board, where the attendees learned of his confirmation about the completion of the academic institution\u2019s mission. Its objectives are to evaluate quality specialized services and respond to development requirements, and to enhance the creative and encouraging aspect of all institutions and formations in universities, such as patents, distinguished research, and the distinguished university, as well as paying attention to the quality of university outputs, increasing scientific publishing in global institutions, moving towards quality requirements, and adopting the foundations of electronic governance, with an emphasis on empowering The academic institution is able to respond to the requirements of the labor market. The attendees also discussed his emphasis on disseminating human rights concepts and disseminating their principles in the formations. The Council reviewed the minutes of the meeting of the members of the classifications unit liaison, amid the university president\u2019s emphasis on the need for representatives of all formations to attend such meetings.
