The sixth session of the academic year 2022\/2023 was held in the Southern Technical University, in the presence of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Rabee Hashem Al-Abbasi and the assistants, as well as members of the University Council.<\/b><\/p>\n

Al-Abbasi started the meeting with a set of directives related to administrative work and the importance of concerted efforts to enter the international rankings in order to achieve the ambition that the university aspires to.<\/b><\/p>\n

After that, the council was briefed on the most important things that came in the meeting of the Opinion Board held on January 28, which was attended by the President of the University, in addition to the most important decisions that were taken in it.<\/b><\/p>\n

The attendees discussed a worksheet of proposals for the course system and the results of the evaluation exam in the corresponding departments at the university.<\/b><\/p>\n

The results of the experimental evaluation exam for the medical laboratories department in public and private colleges within the geographical area were also discussed.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Council also reviewed the book of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on the road map for the entry of Iraqi scientific journals into the international facilities.<\/b><\/p>\n

On the other hand, the council discussed the report of the inspection visit, which was carried out by the assistant president of the university for administrative affairs for evening studies.<\/b><\/p>\n

The meeting was briefed on the report of Prof. Dr. Mahmood Aziz regarding universities\u2019 response to the goals of sustainable development, during his attendance at the launch ceremony of the national report \/ opinions and proposals.<\/b><\/p>\n

After that, the council discussed the most important items on its agenda and made the necessary recommendations.<\/b><\/p>\n
