{"id":23324,"date":"2022-10-24T10:12:26","date_gmt":"2022-10-24T10:12:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.stu.edu.iq\/?p=23324"},"modified":"2022-11-02T10:17:14","modified_gmt":"2022-11-02T10:17:14","slug":"masters-thesis-at-southern-technical-university-discusses-the-study-of-the-prevalence-of-hypothyroidism-in-infertile-women-and-its-relationship-to-pituitary-hormones","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stu.edu.iq\/en\/News\/23324\/","title":{"rendered":"Master&#8217;s thesis at Southern Technical University discusses the study of the prevalence of hypothyroidism in infertile women and its relationship to pituitary hormones"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>A master\u2019s thesis was discussed at the Graduate School of the Southern Technical University about the prevalence of hypothyroidism in infertile women and its relationship to pituitary hormones.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>The thesis presented by the student (Ali Sabah Jamil) in the master&#8217;s program included pathological analysis techniques to study the prevalence of hypothyroidism in infertile women and its relationship to pituitary hormones.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>The thesis aims to find out the extent of hypothyroidism in infertile women and to evaluate the thyroid and pituitary hormones.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>The study was conducted at the IVF Center of Ibn Ghazwan Hospital for Obstetrics and Gynecology in Basra Governorate between 2021\/2022.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>It included 30 sterile women with hypothyroidism, 30 women without hypothyroidism, and 30 women who were able to conceive.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>The study concluded that there is a very strong positive correlation between the measurement of body mass index and the level of cortisone, in addition to a strong negative correlation between the levels(TSH\u0648T4 \u0648 \u0645\u0633\u062a\u0648\u0649 TSH,T3,FSH,LH).<\/b><\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-23038\" src=\"https:\/\/www.stu.edu.iq\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/4b11e59a-be42-4958-a153-a78a43cf7da8-300x219.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"219\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.stu.edu.iq\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/4b11e59a-be42-4958-a153-a78a43cf7da8-300x219.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.stu.edu.iq\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/4b11e59a-be42-4958-a153-a78a43cf7da8-1024x746.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.stu.edu.iq\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/4b11e59a-be42-4958-a153-a78a43cf7da8-768x560.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.stu.edu.iq\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/4b11e59a-be42-4958-a153-a78a43cf7da8.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A master\u2019s thesis was discussed at the Graduate School of the Southern Technical University about the prevalence of hypothyroidism in infertile women and its relationship to pituitary hormones.
