The College of Health and Medical Technologies within the Southern Technical University organized a workshop on biofuels as the most important source of renewable energy sources and at Ibn Sina Hall<\/span><\/p>\n

The workshop, which was taught by Dr.Shoroq Abdul Razzaq Hassan, a lecturer in the Department of Medical Laboratory Technologies, included introducing biofuels as a type of renewable energy, It is derived from biomass, which includes organic products from plants and animals.<\/span><\/p>\n

This workshop aims to raise awareness about biofuels or what is known as bioenergy as a source of renewable energy and bring about the necessary change in behavior<\/span><\/p>\n

Providing opportunities for all researchers to do their role in protecting and improving the environment<\/span><\/p>\n

The workshop concluded with finding a consensus charter for biofuels with an effective and acceptable formula that achieves a balance between biofuel production and food security and accelerating research to focus fuel production from wood, weeds and plant residues.<\/span><\/p>\n
