The Electronic Computing Center at the Southern Technical University held an introductory workshop titled ”Electronic Payment Systems,” presented by Mr. Abdullah Tawfiq Faisal.
The workshop aimed to introduce the electronic payment service and its implementation mechanisms in universities, facilitating various services offered to students, such as transportation and purchases, through the use of a low-cost smart card.
The workshop also addressed how to easily and securely store the necessary data, highlighting the importance of modern electronic systems in improving service levels, reducing effort and time, and promoting digital transformation in educational institutions.
